CityGML

CityGML – Visualising cities

CityGML is a semantic data mode standard developed specifically for managing city information. We use CityGML to create sophisticated, interactive 3D models with our Visual City solution.

CityGML allows 3D urban objects to be visualised. It enables the definition of sizes, shapes and locations of topographic features, such as buildings, underground pipes, terrain, and other spatial features.

It means you can go beyond traditional graphic exchange formats. You’ll see your city in 3D city models, which can be used for simulations, data mining, and analysis and facility management.
