Using a 3D-stereo headset and motion tracking sensors, Oculus Rift allows the user to experience an immersive environment.

We have used the development kit to produce visualisations of ship manufacture and plant design. Because the 3D environment is controlled with body movements, the system gave true spatial awareness and engagement. This allowed the customer to interact with their data and get a true sense of scale and proximity.
