NEXTSPACE INNOVATION CENTRE

The Nextspace Innovation Centre is a centre for digital learning and innovation.  Tastefully decorated and equipped with the latest computers, screens and projectors, it is available for commercial, education and research purposes.  Our dedicated Innovation Centre Manager will ensure your event runs according to your requirements.

The Innovation Centre can be booked for:

• Training sessions
• Events, conferences or product launches
• Video conferencing
• 3D stereoscopic demonstrations and work
• Virtual reality testing and related development

The Innovation Centre can provide everything you need:

Seating - can be training style for up to 20 people or presentation style for up to 50 people.

Computers - twenty high spec computers (4GB RAM, 2.3GHz Intel Core Duo CPU, 160 GB Hard Disk Drive, nVidia GeForce 8800GT graphics cards) operating Windows XP Pro.

Software - industry standard Microsoft Office software plus world leading visual and 3Dsoftware packages with full support from Nextspace experts.  Your own software and files can be loaded to our server.

Highspeed Internet access.

Screens – 12 ft by 6 ft built-in high-resolution rear projection screen for teaching and demonstrations, plus a separate 180 degree immersive environment using three screens for small group visualisation.

Audio - a 7.1 surround sound system that supports the immersive experience, and headworn or hand held wireless microphones.

Presentation Tools – High-end visualisation computer with screens, mobile podiums, Logitech wireless keyboard, Logitech Cordless Airmouse and Microsoft notebook presenter mouse.

3D Display Capabilities – ‘Jump out of the screen graphics’ using Auto and Anaglyphic 3D stereo viewing systems.

High Definition Video Conferencing –  ‘Lifesize Room’ equipment with the ability to manage four simultaneous conversations and to connect to any other industry-standard video conferencing systems.  It can also be used as a standard conference phone.

Facilities – quality furniture and furnishings, air conditioning and filtered water.

Catering – an onsite cafe with catering arranged as required.

Technical Support  - Nextspace’s dedicated Innovation Centre Manager is available to help you set up, troubleshoot and use our facilities.

Other Services – we can take your raw CAD data and turn it into interactive 3D presentations supported by Nextspace technologies, or help develop training programmes and content for your people.
